How do I block in-store purchases on my card via the Mobile Banking App or Internet Banking?
You can easily block in-store card purchases, using Internet Banking or your Mobile Banking App – here’s how:
Mobile Banking App
- Update the App to the latest version & log in
- Tap on Cards at the bottom of the home screen
- Select your card from the card list
- Tap on More settings > Card controls
- Deactivate in-store purchases by turning off the toggles for the In-Store purchases option in the Australia and/or International section (to reactivate, just click the toggle back on).

Internet Banking
- Log in to your Internet Banking
- Enter your Two-Factor Authentication if/when prompted
- Click on the Cards Management option from the menu
- Click on More settings > Card controls
- Deactivate Online purchases by Toggling off the in-store purchases option in the Australia and/ or International section (to reactivate, just click the toggle back on)
Note: Following the steps above ATM withdrawals, digital wallet, in-store purchases and payWave can also be deactivated.
