Click to Pay

Moving Payments Forward. Together.

Visa Click to Pay is a secure online checkout experience that allows cardholders to pay without repeatedly entering card details. It uses tokenisation and Visa authentication to improve security and reduce the opportunity for fraud.

Like contactless payments, Click to Pay works automatically with your existing cards – no additional setup is required.

Click to Pay is available from 2 October 2026.

How it works

When shopping online, select Click to Pay at checkout, enter your email address or mobile number, verify your identity using a one-time code, and choose the card you'd like to use for payment.

Your choice

Click to Pay is optional. If you'd prefer not to use the service, you can continue entering your card details manually when making online purchases.

Keeping your details up to date

Your email address or mobile number helps identify your Click to Pay profile and support secure checkout. If your contact details change, simply update them through your Mobile Banking app, Internet Banking, or call us on 13 8777.

Click to Pay – step-by-step experience

You can use Click to Pay with eligible Card(s) wherever it is supported by the Merchant and the Click to Pay icon is displayed.

What is the $0.00 transaction I can see on my account?

As part of the Click to Pay enrolment process, Visa performs a $0.00 authorisation-only check to verify that an eligible card can be successfully enrolled. This transaction is a validation check only and is not a purchase or payment.

Why is Visa performing this check?

The validation allows Visa to confirm that the card is active and eligible for Click to Pay before completing the enrolment process. This helps ensure a secure and successful enrolment experience.

Will I be charged?

No. These transactions have a value of $0.00 and do not result in any funds being debited from your account.

Why is the transaction showing as "pending"?

Depending on the card, the validation check may appear as a pending transaction for a period before automatically clearing, though no action is required.

Why can I see more than one $0.00 transaction?

In some circumstances, multiple validation requests may occur during processing.
