Credit Union SA boosts its board and executive with three key recruits

Credit Union SA is strengthening its focus on people and strategic growth, appointing a new Board Director, Chief People and Strategy Officer and Company Secretary.

Nicholas Anderson

Chartered accountant Nicholas Anderson brings strong financial acumen to the board having worked with corporate and private investors in Australia, Europe and North America.

Mr Anderson is currently a Director of Capital Family Office providing advice to investors nationwide. He replaces Kathryn Jordan who retired from the board in December.

Liana Reinhardt

Chief People and Strategy Officer Liana Reinhardt will be responsible for the 148-strong workforce as well as driving the overall growth strategy for the future.

She will draw on her vast human resources experience across not-for-profit, retail and fast-moving consumer goods sectors.

Ms Reinhardt was previously People Manager at Workskil Australia and prior to that the Director, People and Development with Ralph Lauren.


Nicole Santinon

Commercial lawyer Nicole Santinon has been appointed Company Secretary and General Counsel.

Her most recent role was Company Secretary of Statewide Super where she was also Senior Legal Counsel providing legal advice during a time of significant regulatory change. Nicole also spent 11 years with Cowell Clarke Commercial Lawyers.


Credit Union SA Board Chair Carolyn Mitchell said Nick’s appointment would further strengthen the board’s financial expertise as it focuses on strategic growth.

“Nick’s extensive experience being a trusted financial advisor to investors all around the world and in Australia is of immense benefit to the board,” said Ms Mitchell.

“Nick is driven to helping people become financially empowered. He will work with the rest of the board to ensure our products and services remain at the highest standard.”


Credit Union SA CEO Todd Roberts said Liana and Nicole would play an integral part in the organisation’s future direction as it focused on growing not just its business but its people.

“It is our people who make us the proud financial services firm that we are. Liana will be responsible for professional development, leading workplace culture and bringing our people on the growth journey. Her diverse career is a real asset to us,” said Mr Roberts.

“Nicole will provide strategic advice and support to the board on an array of issues including governance. Her previous roles as in-house commercial lawyer and Company Secretary give her broad legal expertise and general commercial acumen.

“We are passionate about South Australia and devoted to helping our members reach their financial goals as well as seeing our staff thrive in a fulfilling work environment. These appointments support our future direction.”
