Interest rate changes to our Savings and Transaction Accounts

We’ve made some changes to the interest rates on a number of our Savings and Transaction Accounts, effective Friday 7 August 2020.

You can see the details of the changes we’ve made below, and these will also be detailed in your account transactions in Internet Banking and the Mobile Banking App, and also in your next account statement:

Current Accounts

55+ Account

Reduced the rate for balances between $50,000 - $250,000 from 0.70% pa to 0.55% pa.

Reduced the rate for balances over $250,000 from 0.95%pa to 0.80% pa.

Association Account

Reduced the rate for balances over $150,000 from 0.50% pa to 0.30% pa.

Netsave Account

Reduced the ongoing rate from 0.40% pa to 0.30% pa.

Reduced the bonus rate for eligible account holders from 1.00% pa to 0.80% pa.

Bonus Savings Account

Reduced the bonus rate for eligible account holders from 1.00% pa to 0.85% pa.

Children’s Savings Account

Bonus interest will no longer be provided for balances over $50,000.

Discontinued Accounts

Cash Management Account

Reduced the rate for balances greater than $50,000 from 0.05% pa to 0.00% pa.

Online Savings Account

Reduced the bonus rate for eligible account holders from 0.65% pa to 0.50% pa.

Christmas Savings Account

Reduced the rate for the entire balance from 0.05%pa to 0.00% pa.

Reduced the bonus rate for eligible account holders from 0.05%pa to 0.00% p

First Home Saver Account

Reduced the rate on the entire balance from 0.75% pa to 0.60% pa.
