We are proud to bring you the SALA Parlour as the SALA Festival Education Partner.
The SALA Parlour, open 1 – 31 August 2019, is an interactive, FREE, pop-up, drop-in artspace for children and young people located on the South Australian Museum lawns.
Children of all ages are encouraged to come and create some art. Take your artwork home or leave it at the parlour and contribute to an expanding gallery of artwork.
During the week there will be drawing activities or stop by and get some recommendations on what to see from our friendly volunteers.
On Sundays throughout August SALA will present drop-in art activities with a stellar line-up of young contemporary artists guiding activities for young people and their families.
The SALA Parlour is open from 1 – 31 August on Tuesdays – Fridays 11am – 5pm, Saturdays 10am – 4pm, and Sundays 11am – 4pm.
No registrations are required for this event – simply drop-in!
The SALA Parlour is proudly presented by Credit UnionSA, the SALA Festival Education Partner.
Credit Union SA supports schools and kindergartens to participate in SALA Festival and this year students are exhibiting right across South Australia.
Exhibitions are in schools, cafes, shop windows and even online - make your own schools art trail to marvel at the creativity of our State’s youngest artists.
