Important information for members

At Credit Union SA we’re here to help in the good times and bad.  If you have been impacted by the recent storm event experienced in South Australia, we can assist in two ways:

1.  Need to make a building, contents, landlord or motor insurance1 claim on your existing policy?

You can make a claim online, over the phone or at 400 King William St, Adelaide. 

The fastest and easiest way is to claim online - it takes less than 10 minutes to complete and once submitted you will receive from Allianz an immediate confirmation claim number for your reference.  Allianz will then contact you within the next 48 hours to arrange the next steps.

2. Experiencing financial hardship

If you are experiencing difficulty in meeting your financial obligations to us due to financial hardship – whatever the cause – or anticipate being in that situation in the near future, we may be able to assist.

Under our Financial Hardship Assistance Policy, which goes well beyond National Credit Code requirements, all members are eligible to apply for support, most often in the form of altered repayment terms.

As you’d expect, all applications are assessed on a case-by-case basis, and approval can’t be guaranteed.  But rest assured, we will make our decision as quickly as possible, and usually within seven business days of receiving all necessary information and documentation.
