About the role
Reporting to the Lending Documentation & Settlements Team Manager, you will be undertaking the timely and accurate processing and preparation of mortgage loan documentation as well as settlement, discharge and post settlement duties, including but not limited to funding of all mortgage loans and construction loan progress payments, lending administration activities and discharge and payout of all consumer credit products, ensuring compliance with policy, procedure and legislative requirements.
What you'll do:
- Prepare and check loan documentation accurately and within service level agreements.
- Manage settlement and discharge activities, including PEXA requirements and VOI.
- Provide professional updates to lenders, brokers, and members at key milestones.
- Resolve member queries and complaints promptly and empathetically
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure best practice and continuous improvement.
What you'll bring:
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Experience in mortgage loan documentation processing.
- Secured Lending experience.
- High levels of drive and energy and a willingness to roll your sleeves up to assist our members.
- Demonstrated strong time management and organisational skill.
Ideally, you'll also have:
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and the Microsoft Office suite of products.
- A positive, proactive and results-driven mindset with a high level of personal accountability.
