Guarantee options
The Home Guarantee Scheme has three guarantee options available.
First Home Guarantee (FHBG)
If you’re a first home buyer or you haven't haven't owned a property in the past 10 years, you could be eligible to purchase or build a modest home with a deposit of as little as 5% (lending criteria applies) using the First Home Guarantee.
Family Home Guarantee (FHG)
If you’re a single parent or single legal guardian with at least one dependent child, you could be eligible to build a new home or buy an existing property with a deposit of as little as 2% using the Family Home Guarantee. It doesn’t matter if you have owned a home before or if it’s your first home.
Regional First Home Buyer Guarantee (RFHBG)
If you’re a first home buyer or a buyer who hasn't owned a property in the past 10 years, living in a regional area, you could be eligible to purchase or build a modest home with a deposit of as little as 5% (lending criteria applies) using the Regional First Home Buyer Guarantee.
