ATM Withdrawal Fee (Australia and Overseas) | |
While we won’t charge any transaction fees, you may be charged a fee by the ATM operator if you perform transactions using an ATM that is not branded Commonwealth Bank, ANZ, Westpac, NAB or BankSA (including overseas ATMs). The fee will be disclosed at the time of performing the transaction. You can avoid the fee by cancelling the transaction when prompted | $0 however third party costs may apply |
Visa Currency Conversion | |
You perform a transaction in a currency other than Australian dollars using a Visa card. This fee is included in the AUD amount debited to your account and comprises 2.00% charged by third parties and 1.00% charged by Credit Union SA | 3% of the AUD transaction amount |
rediCARD Currency Conversion | |
You perform a transaction in a currency other than Australian dollars using a rediCARD. This fee is included in the AUD amount debited to your account and represents third party charges passed on at cost | 2% of the AUD transaction amount |

Term Deposit Early Withdrawal | |
If you ask to withdraw part or all of your term deposit funds before the contracted maturity date, an administration fee of $20 and an interest adjustment will apply: The interest rate that applies to the amount withdrawn early will be adjusted to reflect the proportion of the contracted term elapsed.For example, if you make a withdrawal 70% of the way through your contracted term deposit, you will only receive 70% of the interest that would otherwise have been payable on the amount withdrawn. The administration fee of $20 will be deducted from the amount of interest paid to you. The combined amount of the administration fee and interest adjustment cannot be higher than the amount of interest your deposit has earned at the time of the early withdrawal. This means you’ll never end up with less than your initial deposit amount. Dishonoured Payment | |
A payment of any type from your account is rejected or dishonoured due to insufficient funds in the nominated account. For scheduled transfers and payments, the fee will only be charged if there are insufficient funds for five consecutive days | $5 |
Documentation Request | |
You request us to provide information relating to your membership or account, including details of individual transactions and general information requests, and the request takes us more than 30 minutes to complete | $15 per 15 minutes after first 30 minutes (the first 30 minutes are free) |
Dormant Account | |

Insufficient Funds Transfer | |
The credit union transfers funds between your accounts to enable a personal cheque or electronic payment of any type to be honoured, or to clear account overdrawn or over limit balances | $5 |
Overdrawn or Overlimit Account | |
Each day that your account is overdrawn (where you have no approved credit limit) or the account is overdrawn beyond your approved credit limit and you have performed at least one debit transaction to the account or card that day | $5 |
