There are some limitations due to state laws. We will work through the options available to you during the application process.
Your documents are encrypted, so they can’t be read by anyone except us. We keep a copy of everything, and we’ve also added an extra layer of security, so you’ll need email access and an SMS code to view your documents.
You should receive an email from DocuSign® after your home loan has been fully approved and we have processed your loan documents.
Make sure to check:
- Your email address is up to date;
- Your junk or spam folders (if it’s a work address, it might be blocked); and
- If you have a DocuSign® account and opted out of notifications, check your settings in ‘My preferences.’
You can also check with your Lender or Broker.
No, they don't need to match. In DocuSign® you can choose to draw your own signature or use a signature template – there’s no difference.
Signing your loan documents electronically is legally binding, just like your physical signature. This means that once you sign, you'll be bound by the terms and conditions.
You’ll be able to use DocuSign® straight away when you click the link to your documents in the email you receive. You can create a DocuSign® account, but it is not necessary to complete your loan documents. We recommend using it on your tablet or computer.
If you receive your home loan documents through DocuSign®, you need to sign them online.
If you’d like to switch to paper documents, your Lender or Broker can organise this for you. Just be mindful that paper documents will take longer to receive.
We'll notify all members at the same time that the documents are ready for signing. Once everyone has signed we'll send each applicant an email so you can download a copy of the signed documents.
Please get in touch with your Lender, Mobile Manager or Broker. They can organise this for you.
It's important to download a copy of your documents after you've signed. We'll prompt you to do this when you click 'Finish' in DocuSign®.
We will work with you to determine the best way for your loan documents to be completed. To be eligible for the electronic signing process, you will need to accept our Electronic Communications and Signatures Policy.
Yes, but we recommend using your tablet or computer as it’s easier to read and sign your loan documents on larger devices.
Both applicants will be required to sign their documents in the same way i.e. both will be required to sign paper copies or both will be required to sign electronically via DocuSign®.
Once the ‘Finish’ button has been clicked, you won’t be able to make any changes to the document details. If you think you’ve made a mistake, such as a typo on the form, please contact us.
Your session stays active for 2 hours after logging in. After 2 hours, you will need to find your initial email from Credit Union SA and click on the link as you did before. It will take you back to where you left off.
