It’s a great time of year to eat lots and check out new spots around our amazing state.

So we asked our team to give us their favourite places to eat in SA over the summer season and here’s what they suggested.

The Salopian Inn

Corner Main Road & McMutrie Road,McLaren Vale
Ben, Product Manager

Okay let’s start with the fact you can choose from over 200 local and international gins at the Salopian Inn. If that hasn’t already sold you, then maybe their eclectic dining experience will. We suggest you go with their tasting menu which showcases their most-loved dishes from the garden, paddock and sea. And did we mention the gin…

Harvest Kitchen

Cnr Magnolia and Light Pass Rd. Vine Vale
Debbie, Sponsorship Specialist

Originally established by Tracy Collins (Masterchef alumni) and Pete Little in 2015, Harvest Kitchen was built on a desire to highlight the wonderful produce of the region in a relaxed atmosphere. And that it does, every time. Best of all, you can sit out on the deck overlooking the vineyard while enjoying all that Harvest and the Barossa has to offer. For an awesome experience try the “Feed me like a Barossan!” option – you won’t regret it!

Ottelia

5 Memorial Drive, Coonawarra
Courtney, Marketing Communications Specialist

If you are looking for a hidden gem in the Coonawarra, then Ottelia is where it’s at! Known as the “locals’ fodder”, Ottelia not only offers incredible sourdough pizzas (Courtney claims it’s the best pizza she’s ever had) and seasonal dishes, but also a delicious range of wine. So if you’re lucky enough to visit the region, make sure you book into this local favourite.

Lot 100

68 Chambers Rd, Hay Valley
Andrew, Product Analyst

On an 84-hectare property nestled just north of Nairne, in the Adelaide Hills you’ll find Lot 100, a collective that celebrates craft, sustainability and local produce. You can choose to dine in the restaurant with an amazing menu transformed daily by Head Chef Shannon Fleming or you can sit back and relax with some pizzas and platters in the courtyard. Either way you are sure to love your time at Lot 100!

Barossa Valley Chocolate Company

64 Burings Rd, Tanunda
Kylie, Digital Marketing Specialist

Chocolate. Need we say more? A visit to the Barossa Valley Chocolate Company is a delight for chocolate lovers and they also do a delicious hot chocolate, coffee or cake at Benni’s Café with a limited menu Wednesday to Friday and a full lunch served 12 pm – 3pm Saturday and Sunday.
