We have put together a list of our favourite spots to eat at in South Australian over summer.

Think long lunches, fresh seafood, local wines and beach views. What else is summer for, really!

The Little Rickshaw

24 Old Coach Rd, Aldinga
Dominic, Fraud & Disputes Manager

My favourite place in the whole of the South (and that's no mean feat!) is The Little Rickshaw, situated in Aldinga. They serve modern south-east Asian delights supported by an amazing selection of local wines! The Szechuan fish bao’s are RIDICULOUSLY good, the pork belly papaya salad is 'boss' and the desserts, oh my! The 'Feed Me Banquet' for tables of 4+ is a definite winner. Such is the popularity of the place, bookings are essential! And don't worry, vegans…they got you covered too.

Sammy’s on the Marina

1/12 Holdfast Promenade, Glenelg
Kylie, Digital Marketing Specialist

The iconic Sammy’s on the Marina is the perfect place to spend those long summer afternoons. Situated in a peaceful corner of the Holdfast Promenade at Glenelg, Sammy’s is well known for its spectacular views and locally sourced, high quality seafood. Fresh lobsters, Morton Bay Bugs and King George Whiting are always on offer. So if you’re a seafood lover, then a visit to Sammy’s is a must this summer.

Port Elliot Bakery

31 North Terrace, Port Elliot
James, People Development & Learning Consultant

Who can go past a senses awakening bakery? Port Elliot Bakery offers a huge range of tempting goodies, using a variety of locally sourced ingredients with everything from pastries, pies, cakes, donuts, buns to bread. They bake every day on site, and you can often see the bakers in action from the shop front. And you know it’s good because there’s always a line up. Open 7 days a week.

Victory Hotel

Sellicks Hill
Josh, Marketing Campaign Specialist

The Victory Hotel is situated with a stunning outlook over the coastal areas of Sellicks Beach, Aldinga Bay and Fleurieu districts. Renowned for its outstanding wine cellar, you can find a vast arrange of local, Australian, and international wines at the Vic – we’re talking over 8,000 bottles! With friendly staff, and sensational food and wine, it’s truly the perfect spot to relax away the day.

Nutrition Republic

Goodwood, Bowden and Glenelg
Courtney, Marketing Communications Specialist

After all the Christmas indulging, Nutrition Republic is the perfect place to kick off those healthy new year resolutions. They specialise in organic coffee, protein superfood smoothies, coconut water elixirs and healthy plant-based meals. Plus, everything is 100% gluten and dairy-free. I can feel my body thanking me already.
