$20,000 to help young South Australians
14 Aug 2017
As a member owned financial institution we know how important the wellbeing of our community is. That’s why we have donated $20,000 to St John’s Youth Service, to help them continue to provide support and intervention services to young people aged 16 to 25 in metropolitan Adelaide, who are experiencing or are at risk of homelessness.
“Credit Union SA’s ongoing support has been invaluable to our organisation, and the $20,000 donation will go a long way to help us continue our work with Adelaide’s young people who are facing the crisis of having no-where safe to stay.”
“As a charity, we rely on the generosity of socially responsible people and organisations like Credit Union SA, whose $20,000 donation and ongoing support enables us to continue offering our help and services to vulnerable young people.”
“At St John’s Youth Services, we believe in young people. We know that when they are provided with opportunities and the right support they will achieve independence and participate in learning and work. Helping Adelaide’s young people to fulfill their potential would be impossible without the generosity of socially responsible people and organisations like Credit Union SA.” – Wendy Malycha, CEO of St John’s Youth Service.
St John’s Youth Services is committed to real and lasting change in the lives of South Australia’s young people facing the crisis of having nowhere safe to stay, which is why Credit Union SA has been a proud supporter since 2010, helping them provide accommodation and education services to break the cycle of homelessness.
