Reporting a Lost or Stolen Card

Reporting a Lost or Stolen Redicard or Visa

  • Call the Card 24 hour hotline on 1800 224 004.

            OR

  • call Credit Union SA during business hours on (08) 8202 7777.

Important items to note

  • If theft or fraud has occurred, advise local police and obtain a copy of the Police Report.

Check your accounts

  • Check your account balances and transaction history by phoning Credit Union SA (access code required) and immediately report any unauthorised transactions.

When overseas

If theft or fraud has occurred while you are overseas:

  • Advise local police and obtain a copy of the Police Report. A Police report may be required for any insurance claims.
  • Contact the local Visa office – you will find the number in the international phone book.

Contact Credit Union SA during business hours by phone (access code required) or by facsimile (signature required):

  • to arrange for replacement card
  • to advise current overseas contact details (where staying, phone & fax numbers etc)

Other Items

  • If you have travel insurance contact your Travel Insurer to arrange assistance.
  • The local Australian Consulate may be able to provide emergency assistance and/or replacement travel documents.
