We’re all familiar with how easy to use EFTPOS is. However we don’t all use it to its full advantage.
Here are some helpful tips to get the most out of EFTPOS and keep your monthly transaction fees to a minimum.
- Use the ‘cash out’ facility when paying for purchases via EFTPOS – you will need to select your SAVINGS or CHEQUE accounts when selecting your account type. You won’t pay an extra fee for selecting this option and it’s a good way to keep your ATM cash withdrawals to a minimum.
- If you don’t need cash and have a Visa Debit Card, you can select the CREDIT option (where available) as this transaction will not attract a fee*.
Each month we count your transactions to determine whether transaction fees apply. Your accounts have a certain allocation of transactions per month. If you exceed your monthly allocation, your transactions may attract a fee. Read our Fees and Charges Schedule for a full list of transaction fees.
