About Us
During 2009, the boards of Powerstate and Satisfac credit unions began discussing the benefits of bringing their two financially strong, member focused and proudly South Australian credit unions together.
On August 27th 2009, Powerstate and Satisfac held special general meetings to vote on a merger between the two credit unions, to form Credit Union SA.
Our members voted resoundingly in favour of the union and Credit Union SA was born.
With legacies in the industrial and education communities, both organisations are dedicated to helping South Australians, and both organisations are renowned for their local knowledge. After all… ‘Knowledge counts’.
Monday 3rd May 2010 marks the final stage of the integration process, where our systems become one and Credit Union SA is launched officially. At this point, our members will be able to enjoy the benefits of the merger, including a larger branch network.
These are all exciting changes – but one thing that will stay the same is our commitment to a high level of personal service and friendliness.
So here’s to our first chapter in the life of Credit Union SA.
