How We Got Involved...
Way back in May 1996, the Pageant was sold to the State Government of South Australia. The only hitch was that the Government needed some help to make sure the show could still go on.
When it comes to supporting a local event as iconic as the Christmas Pageant, we couldn't resist helping out and the South Australian Credit Unions rallied together to become the new naming rights sponsor.
Here's a list of the six proud sponsors of the Credit Union Christmas Pageant:

These days, the Pageant is managed on behalf of the State Government by Australian Major Events (a division of the South Australian Tourism Commission).
We're Big Kids at Heart
Who doesn't love an excuse to dress up and have some good old-fashioned fun?
- The Credit Unions staff join in as "Pageant People", helping with significant joint marketing and promotional efforts.
- Almost 1,000 people from the Credit Unions provide character roles and clowns.
- South Australian bands (including our famous Police Band), marching girls and dance troupes make up the remainder of more than 1,300 people in the Pageant.
We're so proud to continue this Adelaide tradition, bringing smiles to the crowds of children and adults who come along to this colourful spectacle each year.
